Oh my goodness, it felt so good to be back with a full schedule of MFCH Tours this year! In the Spring we took clients to Provence, and to Dordogne, and in the fall we covered Normandy and Paris. Still remaining is a private trip in October.
All our clients this year have said the same thing, “it feels so good to travel again!”, especially on a luxury tour where every tiny detail is taken care of, and where clients are whisked away to private homes and gardens, and see things that tourists would never have access to.
Traveling is so much more than just jumping on a plane and ‘seeing the sights’. It is the extraordinary places we go, the people we meet, and the understanding that it gives us of other cultures and ways of life.
And that is why we are already excited about the tours for 2023!
The new tour this year was in Dordogne, on the theme of gardens. I led the tour personally and boy did we have fun. From the gorgeous country hotel that we called home for the week, to the magnificent gardens we visited, to the Michelin-starred meals, and much much more.
This garden theme was so enjoyable that I have invited garden and floral designer Lucy Hunter (aka @lucytheflowerhunter) to join me for two tours next year. The first is a private tour in April, and the second will be in Normandy in October, where we stay in the former chateau of Catherine Deneuve, and enjoy classes in floral design, and visit some of the most beautiful gardens in Normandy.

On all of our tours, clients are welcomed with a generous gift. Wherever we go, we are greeted with smiles, and some exceptional doors are opened to our guests. We have great experience in buying and shipping French items, old and new, and we are happy to help our clients in any way we can.
