Halton Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three men who attempted to steal items from a home renovations store earlier this month in Oakville.
On June 7, the three males walked into the Home Depot store, located at located at 3300 South Service Road West, and tried to steal a trimmer and radio.
The first male suspect went in and grabbed a trimmer and radio and paid in cash for the items. He than walked outside and gave his receipt from the paid items to a second male suspect who went back into the store and handed the receipt to the third male suspect.
The third male then grabbed the same trimmer and radio from store and took it to the cashier. He showed the cashier the receipt and then walked out without paying for the second trimmer and radio.
An Asset Protection employee from Home Depot tried to arrest the third male, but all three suspects got into a white Infinite SUV and fled.
The stolen trimmer and radio were recovered.
Suspect 1: Is a male, 35-45 years old, approximately five-foot-nine, 155-pounds with a thin, full beard. He was wearing a gray baseball hat with a black symbol, a black t-shirt and black Under Armor shorts with white UA up the right side. He was also sporting black Nike running shoes with white symbol.
Suspect 2: Is a male, between 30-40 years of age, and is approximately five-foot-11, 170-pounds. He was wearing a gray, full back baseball hat, a gray t-shirt with a design on front, ripped blue jeans and gray high top Nike shoes with a white symbol.
Suspect 3: Is a male, around 30 years old, approximately five-foot-10, 160-pounds with a thin chinstrap beard with unconnected mustache. He was wearing a black baseball hat with white Detroit Tigers ‘D’ in Italics on the front, a gray Nike sweater with a white check mark on the left chest, gray track pants and black Nike running shoes with a white symbol.
