Craig Conover’s Home Renovation: Backyard Update, Photos

In the video above, which shows a look inside Craig Conover’s home renovation, the Southern Charm cast member reveals his plan to upgrade his backyard with “a deck that will eventually connect with the screened-in porch,” an outdoor pavilion with a fireplace, and a pool. Since then, he’s made some big progress, and he took to Instagram on September 20 to show it off.

“We’ve got this beautiful screened-in porch that we renovated,” Craig said in an Instagram video, before noting that he will soon furnish the area and hang a TV on one of the walls. After moving to the “pretty decent-size deck,” Craig explained that he plans to have a grill and a smoker there for outdoor cooking. As for the pool, Craig shared, “We break ground in two weeks.”

“Exciting start to the backyard,” Craig captioned his post, which also included a few before-and-after photos. “Check out the new [screened-in] porch and deck along with some new paint and [long-awaited] new windows.”

Madison LeCroy commented on Craig’s post with an applause emoji, adding, “I remember the day you broke ground!” while Craig’s girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, quipped, “Big deck energy.”

On the August 4 episode of Southern Charm, Craig explained to Paige that he was redoing the outdoor space with their future together in mind. After showing the Summer House cast member where he planned for “the kids to play, like, sports and stuff” one day, Craig shared in an interview, “We both want kids, and I’m kind of trying to renovate the house with that vision in mind. ”
